These sculptural works are both surprising and intriguing because of the many contrasts they embody: soft and hard, smooth and rough, ancient and modern, control and chance, perfection and imperfection.  From the softest of materials come pieces of strength, as fiber is transformed into powerful sculptural forms. Often showcasing imagery and materials from nature, they speak of the connection, respect and fascination I feel for the world in which we live.
